Hatchery
Twice a week the eggs are collected from the parent farms
by our own trucks and are delivered to the hatchery.
The process, transport and storage conditions of eggs are decisive for healthy chicks. Optimum development conditions are achieved through automated control and monitoring systems. Temperature, humidity and air change rates are the determining factors.
Hygiene is essential throughout the entire incubation process. Extremely strict hygiene guidelines for our employees, daily cleaning and disinfection of the production facilities and transport crates are mandatory.
Only under these conditions do vital and healthy chicks hatch out after 21 days. Our employees and animal welfare officers ensure the well-being of the animals, when they are inspected, counted into transport crates and vaccinated. Fully air-conditioned trucks then take the chicks to the farmer.
