Project Description

Pullet / cockerel rearing

The production chain from the egg to the chick begins on parent animal rearing farms, in which parent animals live from their first day until their 20th week of life. The basis for optimum animal health extends over the entire chain in the rearing of hens and cocks, which are kept in separate housings.

Jump tables in the housing

After the 8th week, so-called “jump tables” or perches are installed in the housings. These are provided to encourage the physical activity of the hens, who will later find their laying nests in this layout.
